Clovis Global Academy will serve grades TK-8 at full capacity. In 2026-27 we are offering grades TK-7 and will be adding a grade every year.

In addition to the core subjects, there will be an advisory period everyday in which we will teach children how to focus, pay attention, and cultivate productive habits of the mind. We also have a Global Cultures period, in which kids celebrate each other’s cultures and even get to speak in their home language. Your child will be doing a lot more than a regular kindergarten program.

DUAL LANGUAGE EDUCATION ......CGA offers families a choice in dual language education.  Families can choose between 

        - 50-50 Dual Immersion program in Spanish and English OR 

        - FLES model (Foreign Language in elementary Schools) in which the instruction is primarily in English and Spanish instruction is offered as 
          an additional class period up to 4 times a week. 

TRANSFORMATIVE TEACHING PRACTICES .....inquiry based lessons, and interdisciplinary thematic learning units in a Project Based Learning framework.

Teachers at Clovis Global Academy are fully credentialed by the State of California. Due to our innovative teaching model, our teachers will have the flexibility to be more creative in the classroom as they design lessons around themes which connect different subject areas (this is also called thematic, transdisciplinary learning). Learning will be connected to the child’s existing knowledge using inquiry based methods, specifically Project Based Learning.

In a FLES model, core instruction (language arts, mathematics, science, social studies) primarily takes place in English, while Spanish is offered as an additional period during the day, up to 4 times a week.

We use Red Thread Foundations and Knowledge for English and Spanish Language Arts, Estrellita for Spoanish foundational skills, Illustrative Mathematics, KnowAtom for Science and TCI for Social Studies. In addition, teachers design creative content for thematic, interdisciplinary Project Based Learning units.

Yes, all interested families will be able to participate in the school meals program. The State of California has adopted a Universal Meals program which provides free meals to all students.
